Hi Sudhish,

It has been since that z/OS internal class but remember you :-) Thank you for driving me around Poughkeepsie. Do you live still in Des Moines?

There is an older version (1.6) of Golang that you can get running on z/OS. But you need zLinux to start that process of building Golang compiler. You can get your zLinux from LinuxONE Community Cloud (there is an older blog by me about it) or install zLinux to an emulator (ZD&T or Hercules).

There should be a newer version of Golang available for z/OS in the future.

What do you need Golang for on z/OS?
